WHAT: Fort Walton Beach Medical Center joins Walgreens™ in the celebration of Red Nose Day. Dedicated to championing everyone’s right to be happy and healthy, Walgreens™ nationwide began exclusively selling red noses on April 17, in support of Red Nose Day – May 21. As the starting point for the first Red Nose Day in the United States, Walgreens is raising funds in support of the Red Nose Day Fund, which supports non-profit organizations that help lift children and young people out of poverty in the U.S. and overseas.
WHO: “Fort Walton Beach Medical Center purchased over 500 noses from the area Walgreens™ so our employees could participate in helping lift children out of poverty and to celebrate the mission of happiness and health. On May 13th, during a hospital week celebration, our employees will be putting on a red nose and posing for selfies to have a good laugh for a good cause”, states Mitch Mongell, CEO of Fort Walton Beach Medical Center.
