Critical Care Units
The Critical Care Units at Fort Walton Beach Medical Center are comprised of four patient care areas: A six bed Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit, ten bed Coronary Care Unit, thirteen bed Medical and Surgical Intensive Care Unit, and Progressive Care Unit. Subspecialties include recovery from neurological, cardiac and vascular surgery, trauma care, acute coronary syndrome care, acute stroke care and acute respiratory care.
